Street Computing, Inc. (BSCI) was founded with the mission to provide stable, structured
multi-user and multi-site network environments for business computing. We strive to limit our customers need for intense system management, and to provide system functionality that returns cost benefits in daily use. |
BSCI was founded in 1992. Mike Chern, owner, has worked in the computer industry since 1981. He has been employed as software engineer, system analyst, and computer hardware technician as well as having expertise in several programming languages. In the early 80s Mike provided technical customer support for Intel efforts with Microsoft Netbios and Xenix to provide low cost networks to the fledgling IBM-PC market place. Prior to starting BSCI, he served as programmer and systems integrator for several Reno firms. He also did a stint at NCR in a PC software group. Mike has a BA from Ohio State University. |
Integration,
troubleshooting and support is provided for new and existing installations. BSCI supports diverse types of computer hardware and computer communication equipment. We maintain an office network lab interoperating with Linux, Windows 200X, and SCO Unix servers ![]() |
